We are now hiring dependable, experienced part-time and full-time Pet Stylists for our two West Valley Grooming Salon locations! Want to be a part of a Team that is passionate about the grooming industry and also work in a respectful, peaceful work environment? Then Twin Tails is for you! We’re a company that inspires people to reach for their dreams and encourages them to be the best version of themselves, both inside and outside of their workplace. By creating an environment that encourages our team to be ambitious, kind, and helpful to their fellow team members, we are able to continue to blaze our own path and make a difference in the grooming community.
Our system allows you to focus on one pet at a time and not be rushed to finish your grooms. Our pet stylists average $25-$40 per hour and receive all credit card and cash tips. We also have a full-time, educated scheduling team who answers all phone calls, schedules all appointments for the appropriate amount of time, and handles any customer issues. You are not required to take payments or book your own appointments.
No daily dog quota or sales metrics, you groom at your own speed and determine the amount of pets you're comfortable with grooming!

Requirements
Job requirements for the Grooming positions include:
1. Ability to bathe, dry, and groom each pet according to each clients specifications
2. Excellent communication skills to speak directly to clients and interpret the haircut details they would like for their pets
3. Must show compassion for animals and take extreme care of all pets in the salon
4. Enjoy grooming!

After being freshly graduated from high school, and moving out at 18 to different State, I can say that I am extremely grateful for finding Twin Tails. I love how we only have dogs and cats here for the amount of time needed for the grooming service. I also love the regulars and seeing the same friendly faces each month. I have learned a lot about animal behavior, safe grooming practices, and breed information. I would recommend working at Twin Tails because your main focus is grooming the dog on our schedule. All scheduling is done by the front desk scheduling team, who are all trained to make sure each appointment is booked correctly based on the pet needs. If any issues arise during an appointment, the salon managers are available and ready to talk to the client for you. Many of the clients stay with the same groomer for every appointment so you are able to build-up a reliable client base and have a full schedule of pets to groom.
